ADVANCE DIPLOMA IN FIRE & SECURITY MANAGEMENT (FU)
Fire is one of the leading causes of destruction of property, severe burn injury, and the loss of life of people in industries, buildings, offices, or any premises. To protect the property and prevent the loss of life due to fire incidents, Fire and Security Management is now famous worldwide. The course- Advance Diploma in Fire and Security Management (FU) is approved by the Maharashtra Board of Technical Education (MSBT). This course has been developed by the experts as per the requirement of different industries, buildings, and offices and introduced to the professionals and non-professionals (Students) who are eager to build their careers in this highly needed field of fire and security management as a fireman/ fire safety assistant/safety supervisor/ safety officer/safety manager, etc. The curriculum is designed to introduce the student to studies in fire protection and prevention as a career.

AIMS OF THE COURSE

The aim of Advance Diploma in Fire and Security Management course is to provide hands on training to the participants to develop their knowledge and skill of fire prevention, protection against fire and firefighting process through theoretically (detailed syllabus) and practically to become a competent and expert professional in the field of Fire services.

After completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Understand fire prevention, protection against fire, and the firefighting process.
• Experience experimental fire testing.
• Look at the Health, Safety, and Environment with knowledge and expertise in HSE management systems.
• Understand the responsibility for compliance with all legal and other obligations of the organization.
• Assist and guide the site managers/engineers to make their sites safe and accident-free.
• Understand the operational controls, safe work practices, safe handling of materials and machinery, and establishing and improving emergency action procedures.
• Undertake safety surveys, design suitable documents for recording, train personnel in safety, and promote safety in the workplace.
• Develop interaction with Govt. and statutory authorities.
